The residential complex adapts to the surrounding buildings and is positioned to the north on the building plot. This arrangement creates sunny balconies and gardens, while the natural slope of the terrain creates three storeys above ground to the south and two to the north. The height of the building was carefully adapted to the surrounding hillside in order to respect the neighbours’ views.
The harmonious structure blends playfully into the context and skilfully integrates the site as an extended component by connecting a level with the 1st floor. As a result, the three upper floors are only visible from the front. Two maisonette flats lend the building a domestic character, which is created by merging two floors.
The residential complex consists of six flats with areas between approx. 60 and 150 m2. It comprises an underground car park with cellar rooms, external access including a lift as well as three garden flats on two levels, two maisonette flats and a penthouse flat with a roof terrace. The western part of the building has a flat roof, while the eastern side has a pitched roof with the ridge orientated from north to south.
The project was conceived with the idea of realising it in timber construction, which means that a future-oriented construction method can be considered.
