The interior of the SNOW branch in Moosburg near Klagenfurt presents itself as a progressive further development of the head office interior design in Innsbruck. It is characterized by the unmistakable SNOW signature and at the same time reflects the individual personalities of the dedicated team in Carinthia.
The open office concept was carefully planned to create an optimal working environment. In addition to a spacious meeting room and a single office, it includes six smaller workspaces. These provide the employees with an ideal balance between privacy and unhindered work, communication and exchange with each other. The individual work areas are cleverly integrated into the space and offer a variety of creative options.
The open kitchen area with a bar and comfortable seating serves as a central meeting point. Here, team members have the opportunity to exchange ideas and relax during a joint lunch break. The terrace and adjacent garden extend the space to the outside and provide a pleasant environment for relaxing breaks.
The guiding idea of the design is to incorporate the SNOW character and branding, while still creating a unique and individual ambiance for the team. In accordance to this idea, a lot of emphasis was placed on the variety of materials in order to show the customers different design options on site: The ceiling of the office, for example, is composed of exposed concrete in combination with a suspended ceiling made of wood. This combination gives the room an industrial and at the same time warm atmosphere. Furthermore, the surfaces consist of different materials such as cabinets in solid oak wood, partitions and doors made of glass and steel, and desks made of linoleum. This variety of materials creates an appealing, dynamic working environment that serves as a source of inspiration for the employees in their daily work and presents different styles to the customers.
For optimal working conditions, an individual lighting concept was developed that is both functional and highlights special features of the office. Part of this concept are up and down lights at the workstations, which serve to perfectly illuminate the workspace as well as shine the light upwards to adapt the environment to the lighting conditions. This targeted lighting impressively demonstrates the role that light plays in the design of a room and the many ways in which luminaires can be incorporated into interior design.
To create a connection between the branches, the corporate mission and common guiding principles were placed on the walls. These visual elements promote a shared spirit, strengthen the sense of belonging and provide inspiration.
