In the April 2020 issue of rb Illustrierte we present a private house on a slope and the design of the apartments for the Alpenresidenz Viktoria in Neustift.

For the project on the Arlberg, we took the following approach: to combine the prevailing traditional style of the alpine village with a postmodern and purist aesthetic. A relatively small plot of land, the construction on a steep alpine site as well as some stylistic requirements of the local heritage protection required a sophisticated planning to realize this project.

We were commissioned by the four-star Alpenresidenz Viktoria in Neustift to design the interior of the third floor of the hotel. Several individual rooms were combined into one apartment and renovated. During the planning phase, the aim was to create a living space that offers generous areas for living together and at the same time provides sufficient space for retreat and privacy.
