Architecture and tourism.

In the April 2021 issue of Tirolerin, we were allowed to contribute to the tourism impulses in the form of an interview.

On the subject of sustainability in tourism, we talked to the editors of Tirolerin about innovative approaches, untapped potential and the economic benefits of sophisticated sustainability concepts in architecture.

Considering sustainability in the design of tourism businesses is a major concern for us. Wherever possible, we try to construct our buildings in a way that conserves resources and avoids the use of oil-based insulating materials and materials that cause high levels of CO2 emissions. The main deciding factor in terms of sustainability in renovations, new builds and interior concepts is the choice of materials. We consider these aspects of architecture right from the start of the planning process and thus do our part to ensure sustainable tourism in the future.
