Competition: "Three things from the Oberstadtgries"

The "Dreierlei vom Oberstadtgries" project creates a lively, sustainable urban quarter. By moving the buildings away from the Vöckla, attractive, public riverside areas are created. The buildings become denser towards the park, with high points providing vertical accents. A modular axial grid allows for flexible apartment layouts and efficient building services. Wood-concrete hybrid construction with green façades improve the microclimate and biodiversity.

The open space design separates public, semi-public and private zones, with the park by the Mühlbach stream as the green center.
