Site management
Turning good plans into excellent buildings: Our construction management team oversees costs, schedules, and quality on the job site.
Our Construction Management department acts as the link between you, the designers, and the contractors—ensuring that your project is completed smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. Because planning and construction management are handled under one roof atSNOW, planning issues on the job site are resolved in minutes rather than weeks. And because we act as the building owner ourselves through our own development projects, we understand your cost pressures firsthand—not just on paper.
Renovation of a residential building using reclaimed wood, natural stone, and exclusively local craftsmen.
A historic building protected as a landmark, supplemented by a new structure made of bush-hammered exposed concrete; the roof and windows have been renovated in accordance with preservation guidelines.
A resource-efficient approach to renovating a vacant guesthouse—the existing structure was preserved as much as possible and converted into eight apartments. Every decision was carefully considered, with a focus on pragmatism and conscious restraint.
How We Work
Cost Estimation & Bidding
We calculate quantities and masses and use them to create specifications ready for bidding—the foundation for comparable bids and transparent cost accuracy from the very beginning.
Bids & Awarding of Contracts
We solicit bids, review and evaluate them, assist you in awarding contracts, and verify every invoice—all the way through to the final cost determination. (Senior Management)
Coordination of all parties involved
We coordinate specialist designers and contractors, review and approve working drawings, and clarify design details before they become issues on the construction site. (Technical supervision)
Focus on Quality
We monitor the implementation based on the designs and plans—to ensure that what is ultimately built matches what was designed—down to the last detail. (artistic direction)
On-site at the construction site
Schedules, tracking of deadlines and costs, cost overruns and savings, photographic documentation, reports, construction drawings—and the identification of any construction damage or defects while they can still be remedied. (On-site construction supervision / ÖBA)
Why SNOW
Planning and construction management all under one roof.
When a planning issue comes up on the construction site, the answer is right there in the office next door—short communication lines instead of lost efficiency at the interfaces.
We are the builders ourselves.
With our own real estate development and apartment projects, we understand the budget and deadline pressures from a developer’s perspective—and we manage your construction site just as we manage our own.
Complete documentation.
Photographic documentation, meeting minutes, and construction drawings are standard practice for us. You’ll always know where your project stands—even without having to visit the construction site yourself.
