Architecture News.

Summer 2022.

In the Summer 2022 issue of the Architektur News magazine, we were able to present three of our projects in which we deliberately focused on many aspects of durable and sustainable architecture in the planning and implementation: The "Harmonie" detached house, which was created by converting a stable building, the "Kontrastreicher Minimalismus" detached house in timber construction and the "Lebe'oetz" vacation apartment building.

The "Harmonie" detached house was created from a stable building. The conversion breathed new life into the old building and combined the prevailing style of the alpine village with modern aesthetics. When designing the façade, particular attention was paid to softening the traditional look of the stable building through the clever use of materials. The dwarf house made of black steel is particularly eye-catching here, with its generous glazing not only providing special views and all-day light, but also contrasting with the typical local style.

The detached house "Contrasting minimalism" is located in the middle of a rural green area. Elegant wood paneling paired with black steel brings a breath of fresh air to the style typical of the area. Generous glass elements let the interior shine with brightness and allow views from east to west, blurring the transitions between inside and outside. The desire for plenty of space for community and family life as well as the connection between architecture and nature and sustainability were decisive factors in the planning.

The "Lebe'oetz" vacation apartment building is characterized by its small plot of land, on which the property blends into the village center. The size of the plot is cleverly utilized by an intelligent spatial concept. The simple, modern exterior design makes the building appear larger. The property is characterized by a harmonious interplay of interior and exterior space. Carefully placed glass fronts provide light-flooded rooms which, in combination with high-quality materials, ensure luxurious comfort and private moments of well-being. Each apartment has its own 'spa moment', such as a private hot tub, infrared cabin or outdoor sauna.
