The main focus of this modern conversion in Tyrol was the picturesque mountain panorama of the Stubai Alps. The extension was also intended as a tribute to the client's parents. Their connection to the Tyrolean mountains and their young-at-heart characters were to be taken up in the planning and incorporated into the architecture. The house was to be converted in a way that integrated their essence in a philosophical manner.
The result is not only a tribute to the Stubai Valley, but also to the parents of the owners.
This conversion is characterized by a clean, purist appearance. Both inside and out, it impresses with its clear lines and light colors. The combination of this very modern aesthetic with the more rustic-looking building material of wood, which can be found in the roof construction and selected furnishings, is appealing. This interplay is also evident from the outside: the large glass elements, which on the one hand ensure bright rooms, on the other hand provide a view inside and thus combine the purist façade with the traditionally inspired half-timbering.
This unique façade in combination with the roof structure is reminiscent of a mountain ridge, while the green roof is reminiscent of gentle mountain meadows.
