S.N.O.W. Planning and Project Management GmbH
The concept was developed as part of a development study for a project in an agricultural context.
In addition to the original function of a farm, it was the client's wish to bring vacation guests closer to agricultural life and thus also to be able to accommodate lovers of the Tyrolean mountain landscape.
The project includes a private residence, apartments, several modern chalets and production facilities for regional products. There is also space for utility rooms and stables, as well as a farm store and farm tavern.
The modern architecture acts as a link between the farm and the vacation resort. It goes without saying that the entire project was planned to be sustainable and implemented with a focus on timber construction. Regional and familiar building forms are reformulated with modern lines and an ambitious choice of materials to create contemporary architecture in a rural context.
Due to the existing topography, a courtyard was created below the main development, which combines functions such as cultivation and simultaneous calming. The houses set into the slope describe an adaptation to the surroundings on the one hand and a play with the terrain on the other.
The character of the architecture was thus revealed and the ensemble was created.
