The implementation of the hotel extension in Tyrol resulted from a conscious examination of all the given influencing factors. This led to the construction of a uniform, harmonious spatial concept and a strong reference to natural materials. The extension is embedded in the overall appearance of the hotel in a free-standing and subordinate manner. This creates a harmonious interplay between the traditional style of the hotel and new, innovative approaches.
The targeted use of wood and industrial steel, based on the design of the first chairlifts, brings an authentic lifestyle into the rooms. The communal areas have an open-plan design; the modern kitchen is an eye-catcher that is integrated into the living space at the same time.
The special shape of the additional storey's glazing is reminiscent of the surrounding mountain landscape. This is due to the fact that the extended body picks up on the dormers and the pitched roof. On the one hand, it blends in with the existing shape of the roof and, on the other, creates a unique look that transports the essence of the mountain landscape into the interior of the apartment. The result is a stylish hotelier's apartment with a pleasant living ambience in harmony with the surrounding nature.
